2019 stats: 23 receptions (34 targets), 298 yards, 2 TDs

Coming off of an Achilles injury beyond the age of 30 seems like a death sentence to an NFL skill player, right?

Wrong.

Emmanuel Sanders worked tirelessly over the course of the offseason, and he’s reaping the fruits of his difficult labor with yet another stellar start for the Denver Broncos despite a quarterback change, offensive scheme change, and the fact that defenses know he’s the primary target in the passing game.

No player in Denver’s passing game has been targeted more through four games than Sanders, who has looked as quick and fast as ever.

When you re-watch games and look at Sanders running routes, it’s no wonder he’s been one of the best receivers in the NFL since he came to Denver in 2014.

He’s a treat to watch and one of the best players on Denver’s roster right now.
