The Denver Broncos

Sunday’s performance against Jacksonville had its’ high points, accompanied by low points, but the bigger picture is clear–the Denver Broncos as a whole are not performing good enough. While the debate rages on as to who is to blame (Flacco? Fangio? Elway?), it really comes down to the fact that neither side of the ball is playing up to par and that the coaching has not been good enough.

Neither the offense or defense has been able to put together a complete game, and the play design has not been effective throughout each contest. Week 4 may have been the biggest disappointment thus far, because this was the game where the Broncos probably had looked the best- driving down the field on a stout Jags defense at will and keeping Gardner Minshew at bay.

However, once Joe Flacco was intercepted late into the second quarter, the Broncos completely combusted and recovered too little, too late.

While it is a bitter reality that the Broncos were able to re-gain the lead against both the Bears and Jaguars and really should have won both games, if they had put together a complete four quarters, they never would have been in those situations.

It is very unclear what the future holds for this Denver Broncos team right now. Buckle up, Broncos fans- the ride may be bumpy.
