After a week long hiatus, the Denver Broncos fanzone is back as I got the chance to chat with Rebecca Jones and get her takes on the team this week.

Can the Denver Broncos turn things around on Sunday? They will get a good chance to do that when the Jacksonville Jaguars take the field. Von Miller and company will hope to shut down the Gardner Minshew hype. He was placed in the starting lineup when Nick Foles was sidelined due to a collarbone injury.

This could very well be the best chance the Denver Broncos have to get a win. But the team needs to get it together. Sack the quarterback, create turnovers, limit mistakes deep in opponent territory, and have a good clean 60 minutes of football.

Easier said than done, but there is some optimism that this team will get it together sooner rather than later. Well, that is why they play to win the game.

After taking a week off due to personal reasons, I have brought back the Denver Broncos fanzone. This week, I chat with Broncos fan Rebecca Jones. Let us see what she has to say.

The Broncos are 0-3 to start the season. What have been some things that you have been impressed by? What can the team do to improve?

I have been impressed by our ability to have long drives. Our running game is looking great too and I think if we focus on that we will be successful. To improve is simple – don’t turn the ball over. I believe we win the Packers game if we have even one less turnover.

Are you concerned about the lack of sacks and turnovers from the Broncos defense so far?

Yes. I had high expectations for our pass rush/defense. Fangio is a great defensive mind and I thought we would be a top 5 defense this year. The good news is we are heading into week 4 and there is plenty of time to turn it around!

As a Denver Broncos fan, what is your all time favorite memory?

Super Bowl 50 when Von had that strip sack on Cam. I could watch that replay a hundred times and never get tired of it. Super Bowl 32 was great too – I was in 5th grade and remember driving home from the Super Bowl party we attended and everyone was honking their horns and cheering. It was magical.

The Denver Broncos face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week. What do you think the team needs to do to get the win?

First, we can’t turn the ball over. We are putting together some great drives and we need to end them with touchdowns not turnovers. Second, we need to get to Gardner Minshew. If our pass rush can get some sacks (or even just pressure) on him, we can disrupt their offensive flow.

Next. Denver Broncos vs. Jacksonville Jaguars preview. dark

Which player on the Broncos roster have you been most impressed with so far this season?

I’m really happy with Royce Freeman! I said in the off-season that we needed to get him more involved. The offense runs through him and Lindsay. I’m impressed with Emmanuel Sanders – you can’ even tell he was injured! I also think Chubb is looking fierce. Once he gets some sacks he’ll be even better. One more – Joe Flacco has looked better than I expected. I didn’t think he’d be too much different from Keenum but he’s shown he is better.

Thank You Rebecca for taking the time out to chat with me. Hopefully, the Broncos get a win on Sunday!
