5. Get a snowball of defensive success rolling

The Broncos have gone three games without a sack. Three games without a turnover forced.

That’s going to change at some point.

When it does, let that success have a snowball effect.

This defense from Vic Fangio has always been great at forcing turnovers and wrecking whatever quarterbacks are trying to do with the pass rush.

Once good things start happening for this defense, I think they’re going to come in bunches. There are too many good pieces for this group to not have success.

We’ve been spoiled through the years with elite defensive play, of course, but the way things were progressing over the course of the offseason, did it really seem like the Broncos didn’t have the talent — especially up front — to play at a high level on this side of the ball in 2019?

Let’s see what a big play by Von Miller will do for this entire group. Let’s see what a strip-sack from Bradley Chubb will do for this group. Let’s see how a good interior rush from Shelby Harris early on affects the overall course of the game.

Next. Fallout of Bryce Callahan's extended absence. dark

If they are presently underachieving, then let’s see what can happen if they not only get to the point of ‘achieving’ but even ‘overachieving’.
