Stock DOWN

Broncos’ defense

In all reality, placing the entire defense on the stock-down list may seem unfair, considering they never really let Aaron Rodgers and Co. run away with the game.

However, it was yet another week without a sack or turnover, and the Broncos are officially the first team in 50 years to leave Week 3 without a single sack or takeaway.

To be blunt, that is a damning statistic and it is time for the defense to get things going before it is too late. This pass rush is simply way too good for this to be acceptable.

To be fair, the pass rush was more present this week and did give Aaron Rodgers fits but did not bring him down once. Following the game, Rodgers told media this is the “cleanest his jersey has ever been.”

Seem a little insulting toward the front seven of the Broncos? It should be taken that way.

Hopefully, comments like these light a fire under the defense that so badly needs to be lit. This trend can’t continue.
