Following Bolles’ four-penalty game against the Bears, the target on his back could not have been bigger.

Much of Broncos Country pleaded for the Broncos to find a trade partner or release Bolles, neither of which are likely options at this point, due to the lack of depth on the offensive line. While we have much of the season to go and a lot can still happen, for what its’ worth, Bolles looked much better this past Sunday, going from four holding penalties to zero on Sunday.

Although it did not change the outcome of the game, it was a huge improvement. Bolles gets a stock-up nod this week, but he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to remain a member of the Denver Broncos going forward. If he does not find consistency, he will likely be a first-round talent serving as a back-up on a roster, whether it is the Broncos or not.
