Dalton Risner, LG

Dalton Risner has performed well as a rookie so far, with expected hiccups here and there. Despite the offensive line’s woes in protecting Flacco on Sunday, Risner had himself a day, even finding the end zone once as he hauled Phillip Lindsay across the goal line for a score, quickly earning high praise on social media as the hero we don’t deserve, but need.

Risner so far has proven to be a solid second-round draft choice and it will be interesting to see how he develops throughout his rookie season.

Phillip Lindsay, RB

Phillip Lindsay continues to be a shining star on a sometimes dim Broncos offense. Lindsay had another solid day of production on Sunday, finishing with 81 rush yards and 4 receptions for 49 yards, with two TD’s on the day.

Lindsay was responsible for most of the positives coming from the Broncos’ offense. Lindsay continues to be both a threat on the ground and a dual receiving threat. Here’s to hoping that going forward, the offense can find some stability and allows Lindsay to eat more.
