Justin Simmons, S

Justin Simmons was definitely the bright spot and unsung hero of a struggling Broncos defense yesterday.

Simmons seemed to be all over the field at all times and forced a few different crucial pass break-ups. Simmons truly gets better and better as he ages and he should be a staple on this Broncos defense for years to come.

He has grown into his safety role well and although not overly flashy, is consistently productive.

Vic Fangio, HC

Vic Fangio may not be high on the list of many Broncos fans after his rocky start in Denver, but it is not time to panic just yet.

There are definitely adjustments to be made and growing pains may still be occurring, but Fangio demonstrated yesterday that his goal is to win games and that he is willing to risk everything to do so. Fangio made a very ballsy call to go for two following the Sanders TD and showed the trust he has in his team to get it done.

The bold style of play calling and the willingness to gamble is exactly what the Broncos have been looking for and have needed in a play-caller, and we hope this trend of fearlessness in Fangio continues.
