While the Denver Broncos have only scored 30 points in their first two games, Joe Flacco looks to be doing well under center for the Mile High City.

While starting the season with two losses has not been fun for the Denver Broncos, there is more reasons to be optimistic going forward. One of those reasons, in my opinion, is the play of Joe Flacco.

The former Baltimore Ravens quarterback was a bit of a head scratching move for most of Broncos Country. Perhaps the main reason behind this is due to how much he has regressed since winning Super Bowl 47 with the Ravens. But he does know a thing or two about winning a championship.

From what I have seen through the first two games of the regular season, he has looked really solid despite the fact he played very little in the preseason. So far, he has completed 56 passes on 81 attempts for 560 yards. He has only recorded two passing touchdowns, which were the only two touchdowns Denver has scored this season and one interception.

The interception was perhaps the only mistake I have seen him commit through two games. My only other issue is him overthrowing his receivers. But other than that, I have not seen anything from him that would have the sirens going off in my head.

Joe Flacco has looked cool, calm, and collected out there on the football field. And as this team continues to gel together, I believe he will only improve. Despite throwing the interception, his play on the next series helped give the Broncos the lead and a small glimmer of hope for a win.

Going into Green Bay will not be easy for Joe Flacco. He is searching for his first win against them while Denver is searching for their first win at Lambeau Field. It would be amazing if both winless streaks ended on Sunday.
