Kareem Jackson, DB

The Denver Broncos made Kareem Jackson their first big signing of the 2019 offseason and on Monday night, we saw why.

Jackson is as physical as they come as a defensive back, but he’s also extremely versatile.

Playing some safety and some nickel corner, Jackson was one player on Denver’s defense making big plays at critical times.

He finished the game against the Raiders with seven tackles and two pass breakups, and a number of plays that helped keep the Broncos in the game for as long as they were in it.

There was one series in particular where Jackson personally saw to it that the Raiders didn’t make it past the sticks.

As Denver’s defense continues working together, I think Jackson’s presence on the back end and in the secondary in general is going to be so critical.
