Stock up: The Oakland Raider

The Raiders were not just victorious on the scoreboard; the Raiders really fired on all cylinders.

Derek Carr had a near perfect night, finishing with 22/26 for 259 yards and one TD with a QBR of 121.

Carr had the number of the Denver secondary all night. Minus a couple flashes of brilliance from Kareem Jackson, Carr methodically picked the Denver defense apart.

Oakland’s offensive line kept the front seven of the Broncos suffocated all night, including Trent Brown keeping Von Miller at bay.

Josh Jacobs had quite the rookie debut, racking up 113 yards and two TD’s on the night, becoming the first rookie RB to debut with over 100 yards from scrimmage and two TD’s since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2001.

The new-look Raiders defensive front sacked Joe Flacco three times and kept the pressure on him constantly. The only area where the Raiders struggled was to keep the ball out of Courtland Sutton’s hands and allowing Phillip Lindsay to establish his ground game in the second half.

This team means business, and the Broncos need to respond.
