Orlando Scandrick, CB

Scandrick’s career started in 2008 as an undrafted player with the Dallas Cowboys, and he gave Dallas some really good years.

Up to 2014, Scandrick was one of the better nickel corners in the NFL, but as is typically the case as players get older, Scandrick has regressed the older he’s gotten.

Despite allowing five touchdowns last year with the Kansas City Chiefs, Scandrick managed to limit opposing quarterbacks to just over a 52 percent completion rate into his coverage and he broke up a career-high 12 passes.

Like Bryce Callahan, Scandrick plays inside at the nickel (although Callahan was expected to be an outside player for the Broncos).

Not that it helps a ton, but Scandrick also spent last year with the Chiefs, practicing against their offense all the time, so perhaps he could offer some insight there when the Broncos eventually play Kansas City as well.
