With a whirlwind of news surrounding the Broncos opponent this week, the Raiders have released Antonio Brown. Denver won’t face him.

Make up your mind! Are the Denver Broncos going to face Antonio Brown or not? Well, after the last 24-plus hours, we will not see the wide out take the field on Monday Night.

After what seemed like an apology to his team, Antonio Brown changed all of that overnight by posting a video on his YouTube page that seemed to throw Jon Gruden and the Raiders under the bus. The Raiders fined him, which voided his near $30 million guaranteed. Then Brown asked to be released because his contract would just be like a weekly paycheck.

The Oakland Raiders granted his wishes and now the Broncos will not face him. Instead, he has joined the New England Patriots. This has been a crazy 24 hours. But to business against the Raiders.

I do not believe having Antonio Brown playing for the Oakland Raiders or not would have made a huge difference. He barely practiced while with the Silver and Black and decided to throw a fit and have his way towards his release.

I do not give the Oakland Raiders enough credit due to the rivalry, but kudos to them for taking care of what was a huge problem in the organization. But the move certainly makes things more interesting in the AFC.

dark. Next. Evaluating Denver Broncos offensive expectations

Unless Denver were to meet the New England Patriots, the Broncos will not face off against Antonio Brown this season. But who knows what will happen moving forward. For all we know, Brown could decide not to play for the Patriots.

The odds for Denver vs. Oakland have moved up and down so much. Now, Denver enters Saturday night as a two point favorite.

Hope that Monday night brings some great matchups between two teams with a historical history.
