Broncos Stadium at Mile High is no more after deal

The Denver Broncos will no longer be without a sponsorship as the team has come to a long term deal with a new company after so long.

When Sports Authority went out of business, the Denver Broncos were without a sponsored name for the team for a few years. Now that all is in the past.

Empower Retirement and the Denver Broncos have come to a long term agreement that will give the stadium a new name. Broncos Country fans will now visit Empower Field at Mile High.

It has been a long time coming for the Denver Broncos. The team lost their sponsorship when Sports Authority went out of business and could not make payments. After three long years, the team found a company willing to put their name on the stadium.

Empower is a company that helps with retirement plans. In fact, they have been a sponsor with the Denver Broncos for a very long time. So, having a familiar name to the Broncos makes all the sense in the world. I, for one, am very glad that this was taken care of.

This will help bring money in. And now there is no worrying factor if the stadium name will come anytime soon. It truly does help that the company is one that the Denver Broncos are familiar with.

Even though the name has been made, there is no doubt that the stadium will always be referred to as Mile High. No matter the name or if a new stadium comes to town. When you play a football game in Denver, you will always hear Mile High.

But to have this move done is a step in the right direction on the future of the Denver Broncos. Empower Retirement will be a part of the Broncos stadium name for the next 21 years.

The name will be displayed next Sunday when the Broncos take on the Chicago Bears. Let’s get football season underway.
