The Rest

The Minnesota Vikings cut ties with former Broncos receiver Jordan Taylor, nicknamed “Sunshine”, earlier in the week. Taylor is another player who unfortunately had to deal with injury, and after missing all of last season, was let go by the Broncos.

De’Angelo Henderson was let go by the Minnesota Vikings as part of a trimming of their roster. Henderson was a 2017 seventh-round pick by the Broncos. It was a surprise to some when the Broncos moved on from him in 2018.

The Cleveland Browns released punter Britton Colquitt. Colquitt has averaged 44.5 yards per punt (on 718 career attempts). The Broncos let him go prior to the 2016 season after he chose not to take a pay cut.

Cornerback Lorenzo Doss was let go by the Carolina Panthers. He played in 15 games for the Broncos from 2015-2017, recording four tackles and defended two passes.

Tight end Temarrick Hemingway’s NFL journey hit a roadblock on Saturday, as he was released by the Panthers. He was on the Broncos roster last season and played in five games but did not record any stats.

Wide receiver Hunter Sharp  was released by the Cincinatti Bengals with an injury settlement. Sharp played in one game for the Broncos in 2017, with no stats.

Tight end A.J. Derby couldn’t make the cut in New Orleans. Derby spent two seasons in Denver and recorded 35 receptions for 384 yards and two touchdowns.

Linebacker Kasim Edebali was cut loose by the Philadelphia Eagles. Edabali played for the Broncos in nine games in 2017, recording one tackle.

Cornerback Jamar Taylor played in four games for the Broncos in 2018. He recorded one tackle and one forced fumble for the team.

Next. Broncos could reunite with Demaryius Thomas. dark

The Broncos have not had very good luck in terms of quarterbacks since the retirement of Peyton Manning. Kyle Sloter looked good while he was in Denver, although he only played in the preseason.

Well, Sloter will have to find a new home if he wants to continue playing in the NFL. The Minnesota Vikings released Sloter on Saturday.

Paxton Lynch, the former Broncos 2016 first-round pick who the team traded up for, was let go by the Seattle Seahawks in favour of Geno Smith. Lynch could find himself in the new league, the XFL.
