Scouting Report. AndrewBeck. player. 45. Pick Analysis. 6-3. 256 pounds. FB

Andrew Beck was a four-year player at Texas where he appeared in 51 career games, starting 30.

The tight end, fullback, Swiss Army Knife on offense was listed by the Broncos in their press release as a fullback/tight end, so the team is getting a guy who could help them out immediately in a variety of roles.

The Patriots valued Beck incredibly highly in the 2019 undrafted free agent crop, paying him $115,000 in guaranteed money after the NFL Draft to sign.

Unfortunately for New England, Beck didn’t make it to the practice squad, and he’s now got a chance to stick with the Broncos.

Many people in New England thought Beck would be able to crack the Patriots’ roster with his massive guarantee for a UDFA and their uncertainty at tight end.

Although he wasn’t known for speed at Texas, Beck ran a respectable 4.63 at the Texas pro day and plays with tremendous effort.

So, the fringe roster player in New England becomes a bottom-of-the-roster guy in Denver, and he’s going to have a legitimate chance to earn his way with Andy Janovich out for probably the next month-ish with his injury.
