How each position for the Denver Broncos could come together
S: Will Parks, Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, Su’a Cravens, Dymonte Thomas, Shamarko Thomas, Trey Marshall (7).
Will Parks, Justin Simmon and Kareem Jackson are locks.
Jackson is also a cornerback, so we may see him all over the place during the regular season, which would be awesome.
Simmons and Parks are up and coming young guys who have shown a lot of growth since become a member of the Denver Broncos. Simmons has been stellar in training camp, coming up with a bunch of interceptions. Hopefully he can translate that to the field against their regular season opponents.
Cravens is a great hitter, something that Vic Fangio loves in his players. Fangio wants his players to be extremely physical (but within the rules, of course).
Prediction: Will Parks, Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, Su’a Cravens (4)
Cut: Dymonte Thomas, Shamarko Thomas, Trey Marshall
CB: Chris Harris Jr., Bryce Callahan, De’Vante Bausby, Isaac Yiadom, Linden Stephens, Alijah Holder, Trey Johnson (7)
Linden Stephens has been awesome in the secondary. He had a fantastic game against the Atlanta Falcons in the Hall of Fame Game, and I believe he deserves one of those final roster spots.
Chris Harris Jr. is unfortunately probably heading into his final year in Denver, but it’s clear that he is the No. 1 cornerback for the team.
Bryce Callahan followed Fangio to Denver from Chicago and should be the cornerback across the field from Harris Jr.
Isaac Yiadom has shown that he can be a lot better than he was during his rookie season in 2018. I think the pairing of Yiadom and Fangio is a match made in heaven. It’s what he needed—a change in schemes.
Bausby is currently the next man up if Callahan went down with injury. He has shown that he can be that guy.
The Broncos recently released cornerback Horace Richardson because of an injury.
Prediction: Chris Harris Jr., Bryce Callahan, De’Vante Bausby, Isaac Yiadom, Linden Stephens. (5)
Cut: Trey Johnson, Alijah Holder
