The Denver Broncos released linebacker Dekoda Watson on Monday. What will that mean?

Well, we know that the team isn’t getting rid of the players I mentioned above.

One of the biggest stars at the linebacker position has been Malik Reed. Reed has performed so well that he knocked Jeff Holland off the roster.

The Broncos moved safety Jamal Carter to linebacker (upon request), so that will be something to watch.

The linebacker position is a strength of the Denver Broncos and a specialty of Vic Fangio’s. It is going to be so much fun to witness what Fangio can do with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb.

I have to say that I am extremely excited about Malik Reed, too.

Prediction: Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, Todd Davis, Josey Jewell, Jamal Carter, Alexander Johnson, Justin Hollins, Malik Reed, Joe Jones (9)

Cut: Ahmad Gooden, Joe Dineen, Josh Watson, Keishawn Bierria, Dadi Nicholas
