QB: Joe Flacco, Kevin Hogan, Drew Lock, Brett Rypien (4).

Guaranteed: Joe Flacco
Maybe: Kevin Hogan
Questionable: Drew Lock, Brett Rypien

The reason I put Drew Lock in the “Questionable” category is because of his thumb injury. He is expected to miss several weeks heading into the regular season. There is a chance the team decides to place him on injured reserve.

It seems like if the Denver Broncos do not trade for or sign a free agent quarterback, Kevin Hogan’s spot is safe.

It is also possible that the team goes with Flacco and the two rookies. However, it seems a lot less likely that this takes place because of Lock’s thumb injury.

Lock might end up on short-term Injured Reserve, which I believe is likely at this point.

Prediction: Joe Flacco, Kevin Hogan (2)

Injured Reserve: Drew Lock (Short-term)

Practice Squad hopeful: Brett Rypien
