Which Denver Broncos roster bubble players can earn a roster spot against the Arizona Cardinals? We take a look at players at every position group.

The Denver Broncos have a fifth and final preseason contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night, and while everyone is unified in their desire for the preseason brand of football to be over and done with, there are still roster spots to be won.

There are places on this regular season Broncos team to be earned, and guys still have one more shot to make an impression.

For that reason, the final preseason game will be fascinating. The Broncos still have plenty of questions to be answered.

Let’s explore a few…

  • Who is going to be the backup QB with Drew Lock’s thumb injury?
  • What is the team going to do with the RB position while Theo Riddick recovers?
  • Will the Broncos keep an extra fullback while Andy Janovich recovers?
  • Is there a 6th WR currently roster worthy?
  • Keeping 4 TEs a question anymore?
  • Who are going to be the last couple of OL/DL kept?
  • What is going on at ILB?
  • Will the Broncos keep 5 CBs?
  • Is the team’s regular season punter on the roster right now?

These are not great questions to have with just one preseason game remaining, but the good news is, if the Broncos stay healthy they have a pretty good shot to compete this year.

If not, things could get sideways quickly.

Let’s take a look at every position at players who could win a roster spot on Thursday night, and perhaps answer some of these questions.
