The Denver Broncos have already had three preseason games. Which players have managed to stand out in their limited action?

You can’t tell a whole heck of a lot from three preseason games, but three preseason games combined with training camp work is sometimes all any players get in the NFL.

For the Denver Broncos, it’s been a productive month-plus of work. The team got to start training camp early this year because they played in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, OH in celebration of late owner Pat Bowlen and superstar cornerback Champ Bailey being inducted.

Although we don’t get a chance to see many of the players who will actually be contributing come time for the regular season in these preseason games, at least not for a very extended period of time, we get the opportunity — and I say this all the time — to watch guys fighting for their NFL lives.

That is what makes the preseason fascinating to me, and that is why, despite the overall quality of football, I always love to tune in for the exhibition season.

For the Denver Broncos, these preseason games have been a great chance for new head coach Vic Fangio and his coaching staff to identify areas of strength and, perhaps more importantly, areas of weakness.

Which players, with two games remaining, have done the best job of ‘standing out’?

Let’s take a look together.
