The Denver Broncos have not had luck when it comes to the tight end position. Thankfully, some positive news came from Noah Fant’s apparent ankle injury.

Injuries just have not been kind to the Denver Broncos. Even 2019 draft picks have not been safe. We all heard that Drew Lock will be forced to miss time with a thumb injury on his throwing hand. For Noah Fant, he might not even miss a game.

The Broncos first round draft pick from this offseason suffered a mild ankle sprain. Usually ankle injuries can be tricky to deal with. Luckily, the Denver Broncos might not have to wait long until Noah Fant is back on the field.

But as stated before, ankle injuries are tough to predict. We could see Fant back on the practice field on Wednesday. We might not see him until later on. But the best thing for the Denver Broncos is to ease him back.

Noah Fant has been up and down in my eyes so far in training camp. If he is able to go on Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams, then I would believe the team would not have him in there for long, even though starters will see a lot of time.

But having him in there with the starters will help him and Joe Flacco develop a working chemistry together. Due to the injury on Monday, Flacco and Fant could not get a lot of work in with the first team.

With all of the injuries to the Denver Broncos tight end position, it would make the most sense to ease Noah Fant back into action. This can also give the other tight ends a chance to get some repetitions in practice.

Here is hoping that we can see Noah Fant back in action soon. I believe that he will be a key piece to the Denver Broncos offense this season.
