Wesley Woodyard, Tennessee Titans

Back where it all started.

It’s hard to believe this is Woodyard’s 12th season in the NFL out of Kentucky after he was one of Mike Shanahan’s last great UDFA finds in 2008.

Woodyard played for the Broncos from 2008-13, and has spent the past five years with the Titans. After this season, assuming he plays it all with the Titans, he will have officially spent as much time in Tennessee as he did in Denver.

That’s weird to think about.

Woodyard has been a model of consistency for 11 seasons, and would only cost the Broncos $2.95 million to trade for if they were able to pull something off.

The Titans have Rashaan Evans, Jayon Brown, Daren Bates, and sixth-round pick David Long Jr. to round out their depth at inside linebacker if they were to trade Woodyard, but he’s become a very valuable leader on their team.

If the Broncos want to get Woodyard off the Titans hands, they would have to probably give up something nice like a fourth- or fifth-round pick, and at this point, that price may be worthwhile.

Woodyard has been stellar the past two seasons, racking up 234 tackles and 9.5 sacks.
