Injuries

QB Drew Lock

Lock went down with an injury trying to throw the ball away while falling down getting sacked. Unfortunately, he hurt his thumb in the process. He came back and played after the injury for a couple snaps, but once the possession was finished, he went into the locker room and didn’t play the rest of the game.

After the game, Lock said it was merely a sprain and he couldn’t say whether he would play Saturday night, but felt like he had a chance to.

TE Noah Fant

Noah Fant hobbled off the field after a third-and-long catch and run. He hurt his ankle, and the Broncos don’t believe the injury to be serious but Fant was seen after the game limping.

Hopefully he’s okay. The Broncos have had the absolute worst injury luck at the tight end position and they need their first-rounder healthy.

LB Joe Dineen

The undrafted rookie linebacker out of Kansas unfortunately suffered a broken hand in this game. The Broncos have been snake-bitten at both linebacker and tight end this offseason.
