The Denver Broncos have a lot of ‘good’ going for them right now on the roster, but there are also a few underrated weaknesses that need to be addressed.

Things are going fairly well for the Denver Broncos at this particular point in time.

New head coach Vic Fangio has implemented a structure and ‘culture’ where excellence is expected. His straightforward honesty is a refreshing change of pace and his methods seem like pretty much everything the Broncos have been missing from both an on-field and intangible standpoint.

New quarterback Joe Flacco seems to be getting better every day and has impressed the new coaching staff in his new city despite quite low expectations.

Emmanuel Sanders is progressing well ahead of schedule and appears poised to re-break out for the Broncos after two injury-riddled seasons.

The roster, as a whole, looks much better than it has since 2016 and the Broncos finally have a young quarterback flashing signs of — dare I say it — being a franchise quarterback…

But none of that means the Broncos are immune from the need to ‘tinker’. With three preseason games remaining, I can think of three very clear and obvious weaknesses that probably need to be addressed before the season in some way, shape, or form.

These are not the only weaknesses, but perhaps the most obvious ones. Let’s take a look at the weaknesses along with some possible solutions.
