Derek Wolfe is one of the longest tenured Broncos on the team. When he provides praise, you best be sure he means it and he does that for the O-Line.

Derek Wolfe has been with the Denver Broncos since he was drafted by the team in 2012. He has seen the ups and downs that the franchise has been involved in for quite some time. A veteran quarterback who is one of the greatest of this generation. Wolfe has also been part of a phenomenal Super Bowl defense.

Of course, he has seen the lows too that is the Vance Joseph era. Out of all the Denver Broncos players that I have seen, Derek Wolfe is perhaps the most realistic, will tell you how it is guys on the team.

Which is why if he gives a specific unit praise for the work along with the coach that got them to that point, you best believe he means it. While talking to the media, Derek Wolfe gave a lot of praise to a unit that most of Broncos Country has seen the struggles from.

"“Obviously, they have a coach. A Hall of Fame player for a coach. Munchak was a ten time all-pro player. Any time you get a guy like that in your room, he can teach you all the different techniques. You can see the techniques in guys. You’ll beat them with a move and the next time you work that move. they stop it. That is the sign of a good coach, it’s the sign of good coaching. That is the sign of a good player being able to take that coaching. So I think they are doing a really great job over there.” -Derek Wolfe (via DenverBroncos.com)"

I am certain that Broncos Country will get to see the offensive line at their full potential once the regular season starts, so I can understand Derek Wolfe’s praise for the offensive line.

Against Seattle, Broncos Country mostly saw second and third string players, so it does make a little sense why the comment would not reflect on the play. But I would firmly believe what Derek Wolfe is saying. He goes up against the offensive line every practice.

Hopefully, Derek Wolfe’s comments give the offensive line a bit of a boost going into their showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.
