SANTA CLARA, CA – DECEMBER 09: Su’a Cravens #21 of the Denver Broncos dives on a loose ball after a fumble by teammate Brendan Langley #27 during the game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on December 9, 2018 in Santa Clara, California. (Photo by Lachlan Cunningham/Getty Images)

Riser: Su’a Cravens, safety

Battling with: Dymonte Thomas, Trey Marshall, Jamal Carter, Shamarko Thomas

The Broncos have a pretty deep safety group, but their top three guys are set with Kareem Jackson, Justin Simmons, and Will Parks.

One player who has had a strong offseason when many had written him off? Su’a Cravens.

Cravens played another solid game for the Broncos against the Seahawks after a nice splash play and some good work against the Atlanta Falcons, racking up five total tackles, a tackle for loss, and a really nice open-field tackle working off a block on the outside late in the game.

Cravens looks like he’s going to be a valuable reserve on this team and someone who can contribute and possibly even have a nice little breakout year in Vic Fangio’s defense. He reacts so quickly and has excellent closing speed.
