Dre’Mont Jones was one of the best players on the field when the Broncos took on the Falcons in the Hall of Fame game.

Jones burst onto the scene last year at Ohio State, even in the absence of Nick Bosa, and showed out as a pass rusher.

Because of his smaller sample size, he fell into the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft but his upside was obvious and he really showed out with three tackles, one tackle for loss, and three hits on the quarterback.

One of those hits resulted in an interception for the Broncos’ defense.

Jones is so explosive from that three-technique defensive tackle position, and although he didn’t test great athletically prior to the NFL Draft, he’s a gamer and a flat out baller when the lights come on.

I want to see a follow-up performance from Jones and see if he can do this consistently against better and better competition. The Broncos would obviously love for him to have a substantial role in 2019.
