Will Noah Fant rebound quickly?

Rookie jitters. I get it. Noah Fant’s preseason debut as a Denver Broncos tight end wasn’t great. His first target ended up being a drop.

It does take a lot of practice to perform well in the NFL—or any sport for that matter. While catching passes is second-nature to receivers and tight ends, sometimes they need to get warmed up slower than others.

You also have to take into consideration that the speed of the game is different and how a quarterback throws the football may be different than what Fant experienced in college. It is to be expected.

There is no doubt in my mind that Fant is going to come out stronger as the weeks go on. I do not know how much better he is going to be in just his second preseason game, but as he gets more playing time with Joe Flacco, we should see a world of a difference in his performance on the football field.
