Rod Smith

Perhaps one of the most successful undrafted players in Denver Broncos history, Rod Smith played at such a high level ever since he joined Denver in 1994. He, alongside Ed McCaffrey, gave John Elway a big time receiving duo during the late 90s that led to two Super Bowl wins.

After Elway’s retirement, Smith continued on for another few seasons and retired before the 2008 season began. He ended up recording the most receiving yards by an undrafted player in NFL history. He currently is in the Broncos Ring of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame.

His next stop should be Canton. It is a bit of a surprise that he has not had his chance to be included in the discussions outside of Denver. But hopefully, he will get the opportunity soon.
