How will Drew Lock and Brett Rypien perform?

We know that Joe Flacco will not play in tonight’s game. Kevin Hogan will make the start and play the first half. That leaves third-stringer Drew Lock and fourth-stringer Brett Rypien to play the third and fourth quarters, respectably.

How will the rookies handle the crowd noise? Well, they have played in games before (college, obviously). There was crowd noise in college, there will be even more crowd noise in the NFL.

Will that factor into their performances? Probably somewhat.

It also will depend on what situations are put in front of them. Are they going to face third downs? Yes. How far for the first down to move the chains?

It really comes down to, how will they handle the pressure of being in an NFL game.
