2. Will Denver leave injury-free?

Injuries are one of the worst things in football. These guys have worked tirelessly to be in a position to succeed, and when one unfortunate twist or turn happens and they go down with an injury, it can be devastating. Almost every guy will experience some bumps and bruises in the preseason, but the more games you play, the higher the chance those bumps and bruises become significant.

Considering the Denver Broncos are playing five preseason games, instead of the traditional four, it’s even more important that they can leave this game without any significant injuries.

What’s worse though, is in addition to playing five games, including the first game of the preseason, the Hall of Fame Stadium field conditions have not always been the best, which means players are even more susceptible to injuries. We saw it happen the other day with Cincinnatti Bengals wide receiver AJ Green injuring himself and being out 6-8 weeks. Reports out the field conditions were spotty at best when Green hurt himself.

It’s a big reason why the Broncos are deciding to hold most of their starters out of the Hall of Fame game.

It’s important to get these guys reps, but if they get a serious injury before the real games even begin, it will be for not.
