It’s been a long seven months since we have had Denver Broncos football. With the Hall of Fame game tomorrow, here are three key storylines to look out for.

Since the last Denver Broncos game, a 23-9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, there has been quite a bit of change in Dove Valley.

The Denver Broncos moved on from Vance Joseph (finally!) and brought in first-time head coach and long-time stud defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and they surrounded him with a coaching staff that would make any team drool.

At offensive coordinator is Kyle Shannahan offensive disciple Rick Scangarello who did wonders with a terrible quarterbacking situation in San Francisco last year. Let’s be real, if you can make CJ Beathard look like a competent quarterback, that deserves a standing ovation (and I am a Hawkeye fan).

To retool the offensive line, the Denver Broncos managed to snag head coach candidate Mike Munchak, who turned a rag-tag bunch of guys in Pittsburgh into one of the best offensive lines in the league.

On the defensive side of the ball is Ed Donatell who was the defensive backs coach under Fangio in Chicago, and helped build Bryce Callahan into the cover corner he is today.

Outside of coaching changes, there are many new faces including a new starting quarterback, a possible franchise quarterback, and a game-changing tight end. Moreover, John Elway and the Denver Broncos reinforced a secondary that could be the best in the league this year.

But the biggest change of all is that there is real hope and excitement about this team in 2019. Despite some of the ridiculous projections by members of the media, this team is talented, and you can feel the culture changing in Dove Valley from the Vance Joseph era.

And now, for the first time, we’re going to see all (or at least most) of these changes all come to fruition in the Denver Broncos first preseason game, which takes place tomorrow evening in Canton, Ohio.

Here are the three key storylines to watch out for when Denver takes the field.
