First on the list is the starting quarterback for the Hall of Fame game for the Denver Broncos. Kevin Hogan right now is listed as the backup to Joe Flacco on the first depth chart. However, that could all change in a hurry.

With Drew Lock and Brett Rypien as the third and fourth quarterbacks, Hogan will need to have a solid first performance. If he is unable to do so, he could find himself slipping down the depth chart.

There is absolutely no way the Denver Broncos plan on keeping more than three quarterbacks at the very most.  This means whichever quarterback finds themselves at number four by the end of the preseason will be the one to get the axe.

Starting a big preseason game means that all the eyes will be on Kevin Hogan. He will need to perform well if he wants to be placed on the final roster.
