Defensive line: DeMarcus Walker

I donā€™t think thereā€™s a single player on the defensive line under more pressure than DeMarcus Walker.

The former second-round pick ā€” like many others on this roster ā€” is getting a clean slate with a new coaching staff and finished OTAs as one of the standout players.

Walker was wrongfully a healthy scratch all throughout his rookie season after the coaching staff made a hilarious error in trying to make him an outside linebacker.

His second season with the team didnā€™t go much better, as he was in the doghouse of Vance Joseph yet again.

Walker has shined in training camp thus far, however.

Defensive coordinator Ed Donatell said Walker is ā€˜off to a good startā€™ and now we will get to see the type of progress heā€™s made in games.

If Walker can develop, he and rookie Dreā€™Mont Jones could be key pieces of Denverā€™s DL rebuild, which could be coming in 2020.
