Tight end: Troy Fumagalli

The Broncos have a number of tight ends who need to prove themselves in training camp.

Troy Fumagalli is one of a few guys who has looked good this offseason, but must now hold off upstart rookie Austin Fort, who has made one play after another in training camp.

Fumagalli is obviously a very solid prospect who has made his fair share of plays, but he’s also struggled to stay healthy in his first couple of NFL camps.

The Broncos have rotated Fumagalli in quite a bit with the first-team offense throughout camp, and Vic Fangio said he thinks the former Wisconsin star has the ability to be a true all-around tight end who can run great routes from the in-line position and use his athletic ability to make plays.

The Broncos drafted Noah Fant to be the primary athletic mismatch at the position, but Fumagalli is a good player and is looking to win that TE3 or TE4 spot.
