Defense continues interception marathon

The Broncos’ defense has some serious ballhawks, and their playmaking skills have been on display through the first three days of camp. In no particular order, here are the players who have notched interceptions through the first three days of camp.

Side note: All of these INTs have come off of either Joe Flacco or Kevin Hogan.

That’s a lot of interceptions in three days of camp, and Fangio noted after practice that while each interception has a story, it’s “not okay.”

The Broncos’ quarterbacks haven’t exactly been sloppy, but what’s concerning is one of the major concerns for Joe Flacco coming in was his ability to make plays under pressure, or lack thereof.

Flacco and the rest of the Broncos’ QBs have been under pretty regular pressure through three days of camp and it’s a bummer to see or hear about so many picks from the offense’s perspective.

From the defensive perspective? It’s great. The Broncos aren’t a bunch of hacks out there and having so many defensive playmakers is a great thing.
