Standout players: Offense

After a tough day one with some drops, Courtland Sutton bounced back and was probably the most consistently good players on offense on day two.

Sutton had a really nice grab where he jumped up high in the air to get a pass from Joe Flacco on the right sideline, and another later where he had some serious toe drag swag running full speed toward the other sideline.

Sutton is expected to be a breakout player in year two with the Broncos and this was a day full of positive signs from him.

I have to mention Juwann Winfree again, who continues to make plays in a limited sample. Winfree has consistently found openings when he’s gotten work with the top offense.

Khalfani Muhammad had one of the best all-around days from my perspective as well. Muhammad doesn’t have the same natural vision as Phillip Lindsay, but man is he fast.

He showed off his burst and quickness in this practice and did a phenomenal job as a receiver on a couple of occasions, including a big reception at the end of practice for a long gain down the right sideline working against Alexander Johnson.

Bug Howard made a really nice catch on one of Brett Rypien’s few pass attempts on the day. Howard was out sick for Thursday’s practice but showed his athleticism and hands on a big play down the middle of the field in this one.

Austin Fort, another tight end, seems to be one of the most heavily targeted players through two days of camp in the passing game. Thankfully for him, he is catching just about everything.
