Cornerback
Battle: Slot Cornerback
This battle could honestly go in so many different directions. While Kareem Jackson’s position is cornerback, there have been plenty of talk that he will see most of his snaps at the safety position. That leaves Chris Harris Jr. and Bryce Callahan as the two cornerbacks playing on the outside.
But what if the opposing team shows a three wide out set? Who will play nickel cornerback? That question remains to be answered.
There is a chance they could move around and have Kareem Jackson play corner opposite Chris Harris Jr. and move Callahan to the slot. But there is another option. And that is where Isaac Yiadom and De’Vaunte Bausby could come into play.
Issac Yiadom should secure the job in training camp, but Bausby has the playing time from the Alliance of American Football under his belt. He has been constantly working this offseason.
Whomever does not win the slot cornerback slot will see playing time limited. I expect both of them to make the final roster unless something happens in camp that raises red flags to the coaching staff.
