Battle: Colby Wadman vs. Free Agent Punters

While Colby Wadman is the only punter on the active roster for the Denver Broncos, I would not be kicking back if I were him. He averages 44.7 yards per punt, which is not exactly impressive numbers.

When Marquette King struggled for the Denver Broncos, the team brought in Wadman to show that the team was not playing around. Sadly, an injury and inconsistency were the two factors that showed King the door.

While the free agency pool of punters is not the strongest, the team could bring in a free agent like Bryan Anger or Donnie Jones if Colby Wadman shows that he becomes inconsistent. This battle not only would carry on through training camp, but very well into the preseason and regular season as well.

Now is not a time to sleep if you are the only punter on the team. Your job could be gone with a simple snap of the fingers if you are not careful.
