Can the offensive line play competent and stay mostly healthy?

Answered by: Baylor Bradac

Of course, they’re going to play competently. The problem last year was not due to lack of competence, but a lack of direction mixed in with some misfortune.

This O-line is more than capable of being effective over the course of the season, especially with Munchak around.

As for staying healthy, I can’t speak to whether it will or will not happen this season, but what I can say is that I am not worried about previous injuries affecting the health and performance levels of the players.

The issue is offensive linemen often get rolled up on, or are put in other precarious situations that may lead to injury more often than other positions.

If Denver can find a system that works well, that won’t require moving people to unnatural positions, we will begin to see more consistent play from the line.

Let’s not forget that the Broncos have a very dynamic backfield, and will be able to work around the strengths and weaknesses of the team.
