While it is still a bit early for record predictions, one YouTube channel decided to look at how the Denver Broncos will do game by game in 2019.

2018 was a season to forget for the Denver Broncos. After what looked like a promising start turned into disappointment as the team finished 6-10. It was a one game improvement from their 5-11 2017 season, but still all the disappointing. 2018 saw another long losing streak for the Broncos at one point in the season.

Will 2019 be any different? According to SG1 Sports, there will be some optimism, but it appears it will not be enough. The YouTube channel is nearly finished their 2019-20 season predictions for all 32 NFL teams.

For the Denver Broncos, the season starts off really promising. Wins over the Raiders, Bears, and Packers put the team at 3-0 to start the season. The team would go through a struggle before getting a huge win on the day of Champ Bailey’s Ring of Fame enshrinement and both he and Pat Bowlen receive their Hall of Fame rings.

Denver would get off to a solid start through the first eight games of the 2019 season. However, from there, the team would struggle. Two separate instances, the Broncos would suffer three game losing streaks. In the division, Denver would finish with a 3-3 record against the AFC West.

Those losing streaks would be the deciding factor in the team’s hopes of reaching the postseason. While I believe it is still a bit early to predict the season, this is likely the win-loss total most will be predicting for the Denver Broncos.

If the record that SG1 Sports predicts does come to fruition, it would mark the third straight year the Denver Broncos finish with a losing record. Something that has never happened since 1970-72.

If the Denver Broncos want to avoid their third straight losing season, they will need to show they have improved at key positions. If they can show improvement, this team could be a dark horse in 2019.

But as the saying goes, that is why you play the game. So, I am taking this prediction with a grain of salt. Hopefully there is a higher increase in wins when the season is underway.
