Question 3: Will the young players take steps forward?

The Broncos have a wide variety of young players on offense and defense alike.

We can talk all offseason about how exciting these young players are and how good of a start many of them got off to in 2018, but these players must take the next step in order for the Broncos to have success in 2019.

Courtland Sutton has to be more than a jump ball guy.

DaeSean Hamilton has to prove he’s worthy of a heavy target load.

Bradley Chubb has to set himself apart as an individually dominant player.

Royce Freeman has to prove he can be a bell cow again.

Isaac Yiadom has to prove he can be a long-term starter at corner.

Noah Fant’s big play ability has to translate immediately.

The list goes on.

The Broncos have so many young guys with big potential, but that potential has to turn into production now.

There’s no time to wait.

The Broncos will certainly afford these guys the patience they need to get things off the ground, but we need to see tangible progress from the young players this team has invested so much in over the last 3-4 years.

If the young guys take the next step, the Broncos are going to be really good.
