Colby Wadman – Punter

Age: 24

2019 Salary Cap hit: $570K

Years under contract: 2

When the 2019 season began, the Denver Broncos arguably had one of the best punters in the game in Marquette King. However, poor performance and injury placed him out of Denver. The man who took his place? His name is Colby Wadman.

A punter from the small school of UC-Davis, Wadman signed on the Broncos practice squad a few games into the season. It was a foreshadowing move in the end based on the struggles of King.

Wadman was not bad in 2018, averaging 44.7 yards per punt. He goes into training camp with no competition, but as we saw with Marquette King, the punting job could be taken from him at any given moment.
