Brandon McManus – Place Kicker

Age: 27 (turns 28 in July)

2019 Salary Cap hit: $4 million

Years under contract: 2

Talk about a player that has truly rebounded since his disastrous first season with the Broncos. Remember when McManus went nine for 13 on field goals. His misses were not just bad, they were downright awful. Some of the misses would be on short field goal attempts.

It was so bad, that you would see Denver Broncos players throwing their helmets on the sidelines in frustration. But something changed in 2015 and it was actually thanks to Brandon’s improvement that helped the team win Super Bowl 50.

He would have his best statistical season going 30-for-35. But it was in the playoffs where he truly shined, converting on all ten of his field goals during the Super Bowl run.

He was able to rebound after a rough 2017 campaign. But he also did not kick a lot of field goals in 2018, recording 25 attempts. That would be his lowest number since 2014.

I fully expect Brandon McManus to keep powering through and become the place kicker going into the 2019 season.
