Harris Jr. had the chance to learn from and play alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer Champ Bailey, which should be considered as a big influence on his progression throughout his NFL career.

Harris Jr. has recorded three interceptions in four of his eight seasons with the Denver Broncos. From 2006-2018, he has received the top grade for coverage from Pro Football Focus since PFF was created in 2006.

In 2018, the Denver Broncos allowed 69.5 yards per game to opponents’ no. 1 receiver. That ranked second in the division, only to the Kansas City Chiefs. Harris Jr., being the Broncos’ best cornerback, had the responsibility of covering them.

For some reason, a lot of people who are not fans of the Denver Broncos forget about Harris Jr. He is always overlooked when talking about the best cornerbacks in the league. That is going to change in next year’s free agency. He is likely to see top-dollar money offers.

He has plenty of years left in the tank and should continue to perform at a high level for a while. Unfortunately, it sounds like 2019 will be Harris Jr.’s final season as a member of the Denver Broncos after the two sides were unable to come to an agreement that would extend him for years to come.
