DL2: Shelby Harris, Denver Broncos

Sayre Bedinger

Although he was only a part-time player for the Broncos, no player in the AFC West graded higher defensively (90.8) last year than Shelby Harris of the Denver Broncos.

Seriously.

Harris has developed into a stud as a run defender, pass rusher, special teams player, and even dropping into coverage.

Just ask Ben Roethlisberger about that one.

This guy is such a smart player who understands his role and makes the most of every snap he’s on the field.

In just over 900 snaps with the Broncos (basically 19-20 games for most DL), Harris has racked up 16 hits, 15 tackles for loss, and seven sacks along with seven pass breakups, a game-sealing interception, and a game-sealing blocked field goal.

Stud.
