When a former college head coach praises one of Denver’s players, something must have been done right. Bill Snyder talks a bit on Dalton Risner.

The Denver Broncos drafted Dalton Risner with their first of two second round draft picks in the 2019 NFL Draft that took place just a few months ago. It was clear in the days leading up to the draft that the Broncos and Risner were a match.

He gets the chance to play in his hometown while the Denver Broncos will get a player to help on the offensive line. Broncos Country is excited to see what the team will get in Dalton Risner. Who better to tell the fans who Dalton Risner is than his college head coach.

Bill Snyder recently retired from coaching after Risner completed his final year at Kansas State University. The long time head coach worked with him for five years and had quite a few positive things to say about the offensive lineman.

"“His dependability is a great feature for him, one of his intrinsic values. Dependability means a lot to him. The lessons that he’s learned in football have served him well off of the football team.”-Bill Snyder"

Dependability is going to be a key part towards Dalton Risner’s path in the NFL. The Denver Broncos dealt with a lot of injuries last season, especially on the offensive line. Ron Leary and Matt Paradis found themselves gone for the year.

The fact that Risner wants to help out shows his character off the field as well, which is something that the Denver Broncos would greatly be pleased with.
