The Denver Broncos could have one of the best defensive line units in the entire NFL in 2019. Which players make up this stellar group?

The Denver Broncos have one of the best defensive line units in the NFL today and one of the best position coaches in the league in Bill Kollar leading the group.

Unfortunately for the Broncos — as was the case with their stellar 2015 group — this could be the last year this crew of players is together.

Namely, this could be the last year all of Derek Wolfe, Shelby Harris, and Adam Gotsis are together on the Broncos’ defensive line.

The Broncos’ ability to get pressure from their defensive line as well as stop the run on a consistent basis was key for the 2015 Super Bowl team under the direction of coordinator Wade Phillips, and this unit will be critical again in 2019 if the Broncos are going to have success.

The question is, do the Broncos have anyone in this group as impactful as Malik Jackson?

How good is this group’s depth? The 2015 unit got 18 sacks combined from Derek Wolfe (5.5), Malik Jackson (5.5), Sylvester Williams (2.5), Antonio Smith (2.5), and Vance Walker (2). Those guys also combined for 44 total hits on the quarterback.

Do the Broncos have a group to get that kind of production again in 2019? I think so.

Let’s take a look at each guy in this unit and what they bring to the table.
