Shamarko Thomas

Age: 28

2019 Salary Cap hit: $645K

Years under contract: 1

Shamarko Thomas has been in and out of the Denver Broncos organization for all of the 2018 season. He signed with the team early in preseason last year before being let go during final cuts. He would return to the team ten days after cuts, but would be released again about three months later.

He has returned for the third time under a reserve/future contract. It will be interesting how he develops under a new coaching staff. There is a chance that Thomas could be a camp body, but he could also find himself on the final roster because of his experience.

Look for him to battle in training camp. Because of the lack of depth at safety, Shamarko Thomas could likely be one of the last names on the final roster.
